Solo Trip to Bohol

Since it is a holiday here on 24 Feb 07(don't ask me what holiday), i booked a day trip to Bohol with the help of my friend...

Bohol is 2 hours ferry ride from Cebu. Reach there at 10am. Nice town with short buildings, less pollution and simple daily lifestyle.

First destination is to the 2nd oldest church in Phillippines. I didn't really went in because historical sights never interest me. What fascinates me is they use egg white to stick all the granite blocks as the walls of the church. Here we are in the modern world where people are comparing technical specifications of precast wall versus hollow block wall and portland cement versus masonry cement and yet no real solution to the problems...

Then went for lunch at Lobok river and enjoy the ride. Nothing fantastic though. Saw a bunch of young korean in another speed boat. They are real cool from the way they sit with their sunglasses and sad to say, the way they smoke looks cool from far. Reminds me of the prince in Princess Hours.... Day dreaming again!!!

Next is to see Tersia-smallest monkey in the world. It was said that they exist even before monkeys. They are a real cute creature. Not afraid of human. Their fur is soft. Really feel like squeezing them. Ha!!

Then went to view the Chocolate Hills. There are 1000+ hills.Went to the viewing deck build on the highest hill of all.

Conclusion is i feel that the trip is quite worthwhile especially when it cost me only S$90 for the package. What i luv best is the Tersia.

Trip to Liloan

This trip is meant for work. We wanted to see the quality of our short-listed tenderer for metal works. It is around 45 minutes drive from Cebu....

However, i ended up taking pixs of the scenery. The scenery is very calm with clear, blue water and fishermen in sampans....

Also, they have this lighthouse that was build during the spanish colony....

Worthwhile to go if you live in Cebu and take a short trip there. Otherwise, it sounds foolish to spend nearly 1 hr 30 minutes road trip just to see clear water and fishermen..... If you just love the sight of sea, just book yourself a flight to Boracay which is my next target... :)

Anyway, i am going on a solo trip tomorrow to Bohol.... hopefully will enjoy myself there....

Trip to search for sweet corn

It happens last Saturday night after 2 tiring days of shifting to the site for the construction team... Since Chinese New Year is a quiet mode, one of colleague suggested we drive 45 minutes to the mountain to eat sweet corn....

Sounds foolish but i looove the scenery.... The air is fresh and cooling... Real nice if you can just build a bungalow there....

House Cleaning

After a Sinulog party, i have the mood to do renovation to my home.... Spend the whole Sunday doing shifting of furnitures, etc...

Then spend the rest of the night crying watching my korean DVD.... hehehe....

Soo much so for my boring life in Cebu.....

Sinulog Party 2007

Sinulog is an event celebrated yearly in Cebu for the Catholics as a celebration for Saint Sto Nino who is the baby Jesus...

Didn't go to their parade since they say is really jam-packed and u see nothing but human heads... Anyway, in Singapore i don't even bother going to Chingay (Parade during Chinese New Year)

Our company also took this opportunity last Fri on 26th Jan'07 to invite our condominium buyers and other potential buyers to celebrate such event...

It's really a tiring week for us... I ended up accompanying my senior to pay new plants and decoration for the show units.... Interesting thing that i can do a bit of decor now... In Singapore, such task is always given to my sis who is an interior designer and she is naturally more creative than me...

Had wonderful time in the party... My colleagues and i joked around all night...
